We resurrected this site because we didn't want the years of work by Gloria Crumpler Vester and her fellow Crumpler researchers simply to be lost. Nobody has maintained it for a very long time, so many of its links no longer work — and we know. As time permits we'll go through it and tidy the broken links; volunteers are very welcome.
All of the family information has been carried over to our family history site, including a separate tree for Gloria's own database: Gloria Crumpler Vester's Crumpler Database · The Lucies Family History Site.
Please take the site for what it is: a slice of history, from the days of the rotary telephone, the daily newspaper and polite politics. — HMDP

I hope you find my web pages interesting and informative. This was a hobby I started about 10 years ago and still make the time to get in the occasional research trip. Since most of the pages here at the Crumpler Home Site are related to sources for information, I decided to do my part of the site a little differently. The majority of my site is devoted to photographs of people and places. I have about 75,000 names on file of the Crumpler's and Allied Families. Anyone wishing to share information or swap pictures......just let me know. I am always interested. Please feel free to wander thru the many pages and let me know what you think of my efforts.
