We resurrected this site because we didn't want the years of work by Gloria Crumpler Vester and her fellow Crumpler researchers simply to be lost. Nobody maintained it for many years, so a lot of its links had stopped working. We have pointed them to archived copies where any exist and marked the rest; if you spot something we missed, please tell us.
All of the family information has been carried over to our family history site, including a separate tree for Gloria's own database: Gloria Crumpler Vester's Crumpler Database · The Lucies Family History Site.
Please take the site for what it is: a slice of history, from the days of the rotary telephone, the daily newspaper and polite politics. — HMDP

I am beginning the laboring task of filling in the gaps on the ol' family tree. I am searching for any information that anyone may have on the following folks: Jerry Crumpler m. Delia Lona Sasser, children: Arthur Crumpler m. Lillian Hill, Lupearl Crumpler m. Murray Grant, Leon Crumpler m. Rebecca Corbette, Boyce Crumpler m. Dorothy Hinnant. Boyce Crumpler is my grandfather. I also know that there is some connection to Charity Howell who's husband was in the Civil War and lost his life in active duty. I also know that I am kin to Phyllis Gurley of Goldsboro, NC who has lots of info on the Crumpler Clan of Kenly. If you are reading this and you have some info. I would love for you to pass it on to me a [email protected] Thank you.
